Did you know that last year Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South (CCLA) assisted more than 2,000 people at no charge?

Although the primary sources of funding for CCLA come from Legal Services Corporation (LSC), grants from foundations, special events, donations from members and caring individuals in the community play are major role in our success within the community.

Individual donations make up a critical and increasing portion of our budget.

Your support can enable a family – or several families who may be:

  • Victims of domestic violence
  • In great need of public assistance
  • Facing foreclosure

Holiday Adopt A Family
Each year we invite law firms, social groups, sports teams and families to become an adopter in our Holiday Adopt A Family project. The staff at LAS identify families who cannot afford a holiday celebration and matches them with an adopter. Sample gifts include: electronics, bikes, games, clothes, books, toys, and gift certificates. No gift is too small to help out children and families who would not have a holiday celebration without your generosity. For more information on adopting a family, please contact Melissa Kamelhair at 954-736-2423 or

In-kind contributions are also welcomed as they enable LAS to continue to provide services for our clients as they build a new life for themselves and their families.

Monetary Donations to Pro Bono
