Fellowships play a critical role in developing and training young attorneys. CCLA hosts a variety of Public Interest Law Fellowships. Our Fellows enable us to provide integrated service delivery strategies that are responsive to community needs.

CCLA Fellowships are highly selective and include a paid stipend. The Fellowships will be awarded to top students with the intent of jump-starting their public service careers. Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following:
Equal Justice Works (EJW) Fellowship
Applicants must submit their resume along with a suggested one full page project description. A project is an initiative that involves effective legal advocacy on behalf of individuals, groups, or issues that are not adequately represented by some aspect of the legal system. Applicants must have graduated from an Equal Justice Works Member Law School with a J.D. or LL.M and held a permanent, public interest lawyer position previously. Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Fellowship
Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Fellows will spend a 6-week period during office hours at CCLA or Legal Aid Service of Broward working directly with clients and experienced staff attorneys. Under the YLS program, fellows receive a modest stipend. Submissions: Please check back January 2022 for more details.
B’nai B’rith Justice Unit #5207 Fellowship
B’nai B’rith Justice Unit #5207 Fellows spend a 6-week period during office hours at CCLA or Legal Aid Service of Broward County working directly with clients and experienced staff attorneys.
