As the Executive Director of Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA), Lisa Goldberg leads our CCLA staff. Previously, Lisa was the Director and Supervising Attorney of the Family Law and Domestic Violence Unit for 16 years, and prior to joining CCLA in 2003, she worked as the Family Law Supervising Attorney at Legal Aid Service of Broward County for 20 years. Lisa’s team represented victims of intimate partner violence in domestic violence and family law court. The Team was twice awarded the Outstanding Program Award by the Broward Domestic Violence Council and received the Ending Abuse Award from Jewish Family Services. Lisa advocated for, developed and implemented the Family Court Self Advocacy Program located in the Central Broward County Courthouse.
The 17th Judicial Circuit, Broward County Bar Association, and Broward County Women’s Lawyers Association honored Lisa in March 2022 as one of Broward’s Top Women Leaders in conjunction with International Women’s Day. In 2018, Nova Southeastern University’s Public Interest Law Society named Lisa the NSU Law Alumna of the Year for her commitment to public service. In 2013, Lisa received the Commitment to Justice Award at the annual For The Public Good event. She earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Maryland. Lisa is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States Supreme Court.
