As the Executive Director of Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA), Lisa Goldberg leads our CCLA staff. Previously, Lisa was the Director and Supervising Attorney of the Family Law and Domestic Violence Unit for 16 years, and prior to joining CCLA in 2003, she worked as the Family Law Supervising Attorney at Legal Aid Service of Broward County for 20 years.
Hal Eckard is a financial professional with over 30 years of experience. In early 2023, Hal began his career with Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) as Controller. He became Interim Chief Financial Officer, then Chief Financial Officer. Hal built the foundation of CCLA’s inaugural Fiscal Department and established the core values of the accounting department.
Katianna Mazard serves as the Director of Operations & Management at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA). Beginning in 2004 as a staff attorney, she served the elderly population of Broward County in various areas of law, such as landlord-tenant, consumer, immigration, abuse, financial exploitation, Social Security, health and public benefits.
Mindy Jones is the Director of Programs & Compliance at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA). Mindy is part of the management team, overseeing CCLA’s programs. She has been working with legal aid organizations since the beginning of her career, advancing the mission of equal access to justice for all.
Claudia Welsh is Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida’s Director of Development & Communications. She is a seasoned professional with over thirty years of experience in all aspects of development and fundraising.
Cynthia Woodward has been with Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) since its inception. From 1990 to 2004, Cynthia was a family law attorney with Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc. Prior to 1990, she was an attorney with Gulfcoast Legal Services in Clearwater, Florida.
Sarah Barker is the Director of the Senior Citizen Law Project at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA). The Project provides free civil legal services to low-income, and otherwise eligible, seniors 60 years age and older, caregivers for seniors, and grandparent caregivers age 55 and older. In 2009, Sarah joined the Senior Citizen Law Project as a staff attorney. In 2019, Sarah became the Project’s Supervising Attorney. Previously, she interned with CCLA’s Family Law Unit.
Mertella Burris is Director of the Economic Advocacy and Community Health (EACH) Unit. Mertella joined the staff at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) after working for 24 years as the Supervising Attorney for the Homeless Legal Rights Project at Legal Aid Service of Broward County. Prior to that, she was an Equal Justice Works Fellow, supported by the Florida Bar Foundation and Greenberg Traurig. Mertella dedicated her time and talent to defending the rights of homeless and indigent persons.
Hilary A. Creary is the Supervising Attorney for Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida’s Family Law & Victims of Crime Unit. Throughout her legal career, Hilary practiced in all areas of family law and was a Guardian ad Litem and Family Law Mediator.
Jeff Hittleman is the Supervising Attorney for the Senior Citizen Law Project. He oversees the delivery of free legal services to seniors in various areas of law, including landlord-tenant disputes, foreclosure defense, consumer rights, immigration, elder abuse and exploitation, and health and public benefits law.
Audra Zweig is the Human Resources Manager at Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, bringing over twenty-six years of non-profit experience in HR Management.
Victoria was born and raised in Broward County Florida. She graduated summa cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
