Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida’s (CCLA) mission is to improve the lives of people in our community who have lower socioeconomic status through advocacy, education, representation, and empowerment. As one of only two legal aid providers in Broward County, providing education to the community is one of our most important responsibilities. Whether it be providing information and resources at a community fair, or offering one-on-one legal clinics to community members, CCLA is privileged to serve and educate our community members and agencies about important legal issues and the rights associated with them.

Is your agency or community group interested in learning about a specific legal topic or the legal services CCLA provides? Our CCLA team members will present at your meeting/event/organization about the legal areas in which we practice and types of cases we handle. Also, we address emerging and existing legal issues and current related laws and legal rights.

Interested in having the Mobile Justice Squad (MJS) pull up to your next event? Our MJS will present at your meeting, event, or organization about what types of cases CCLA handles, emerging and existing legal issues, and the related laws and legal rights. MJS is a project of CCLA’s Senior Citizen Law Project. In addition to conducting outreach, MJS provides legal services to seniors age 60 and older who are homebound, isolated, disabled, or lack transportation.

Twice a month, on Fridays, we host Fridays with Friends, a Facebook Live segment where we meet virtually with local providers and agencies to discuss the services they offer to our community. This is a great way to promote your work and learn about other amazing providers.
