For over 20 years, Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) has relied on the legal expertise of Lawrence (Larry) Ploucha for guidance and support for its Family Law Unit. Larry formulates deferred savings language for Settlement Agreements and Final Judgments, drafts Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, and handles complex pro bono cases referred by Broward Lawyers Care.

Analyzing and composing complex documents upon which clients’ monetary benefits are dependent upon, Larry has been the difference in 38 of CCLA’s clients’ futures. Larry has never said no to mentoring or helping CCLA staff and clients – our appreciation for Larry’s help is boundless.

Larry is widely recognized for his knowledge of employee benefits, estate planning, tax law, and business issues. Larry has more than 30 years of experience working with shareholders, professional firms, closely-held businesses, individuals, and families. He works hard for his clients, applying his experience and a practical approach to their problems.

Larry is a shareholder with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC and a Director with the American Red Cross, South Florida Region. Before that, he was with Atkinson, Diner, Stone, Mankuta & Ploucha, P.A. for over 17 years.

Larry holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.)Degree in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law and a J.D. in Law from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
