Brittany Brooks
Brittany Brooks is an Equal Justice Works fellow with CCLA. Brittany’s project, Serving Our Sisters (S.O.S.,) will provide legal services to female veterans and cover different legal issues female veterans may have. For this project, Brittany will specialize in services for female veterans who have experienced Military Sexual Trauma.
As a veteran of the Air Force, Brittany is passionate about helping her fellow sisters in arms access the benefits they need and deserve and volunteered as a victim advocate while still serving.
Brittany continued her commitment to woman’s rights and veteran rights by creating her Undergraduate University’s first Victim Advocacy and Rape Crisis Center. During law school, she was president of both the Public Interest Network and the Jewish Law Students Association.
Brittany graduated from Florida International University in May 2020. Before that, she earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Missouri.
