To whom much is given, much is expected. Sherylle Francis takes that adage with her as she enters 2020 as the new Board Chair for Broward Legal Aid and Coast to Coast Legal Aid.
When prompted to share some words about her upcoming role, she leans toward the future. Francis looks forward to a year filled with the promise of a better and brighter tomorrow for the hundreds of children, seniors, veterans, homeless, domestic violence survivors, unaccompanied immigrant minors and persons living with HIV/AIDs who we have been serving for the past 45 years.
Francis is a trial lawyer whose passionate advocacy has led to a successful 20-year career defending major manufacturing corporations in product liability matters in state and federal courts nationwide and internationally.
“I thank everyone, including our organizational partners who have helped promote and sustain our mission throughout the year and I ask that you join me in continuing our fight for the most vulnerable and needy in our community,” says Sherylle Francis. “While we have accomplished much, there is still work to be done, so please open your hearts and your wallets and let’s make this another amazing year of service!”
